 I offer various online continuing education workshops for yoga teacher training and meditation certifications through The Lotus Pond Center for Yoga and Health in Tampa, FL, a registered Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP®). Many of these workshops are also available for personal empowerment and education, regardless of whether or not you are a yoga teacher. I would love to chat with you about which courses might best support you in your journey!

The Lotus Way Meditation Certification ($760)

The gifts of meditation are life-changing — now more than ever, people are seeking the calm, clarity, and inner strength that meditation offers. This in-depth, inspiring training gives you the knowledge, techniques, and experience to become a Certified Meditation Teacher.

Open to all yoga teachers, health professionals, counselors, life coaches, and alternative practitioners: this is a wonderful opportunity to grow your skillset or begin a new path sharing these much-sought-after teachings.

Restorative Yoga Certification ($300)

Give your students the gift of peace. In this training, you will gain the necessary skills to guide your students into an immersive state of relaxation. You will learn how to safely guide restorative postures for students, create an effective sequence, and techniques to guide your students into a state of innate healing and restoration.

 

Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Workshops

Deepening Peace Bundle ($520)

This series of online workshops includes a deep exploration into yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, the Yoga Sutras, and the science behind yoga & meditation.

Yoga Sutras Part 1 ($60)

In this training we explore Book 1 of Yoga Sutras to gain a deeper understanding of your own mind. You will learn how the teachings of the Yoga Sutras can be used to regulate your internal mental and emotional states to cultivate greater awareness and inner peace. You will also learn about common obstacles to meditation and methods to develop focus and serenity of mind.

Yoga Sutras Part 3 ($80)

In this workshop you will learn the Foundation of Sankhya Philosophy, and its role in shaping Yoga and Ayurveda. You will gain an in-depth understanding of gunas and dristhi and how to more easily embrace the world with curiosity, tranquility and gratitude. We learn about the traps of spiritual materialism that arise on the journey towards wisdom, and how to avoid them.

 

Myths & Legends of Yoga Asana Part 1 ($40)

In this training you will learn the history of yoga and its roots in the Indus River Valley civilization. You will explore the legends behind sun salutation and a wide variety of postures so that you can move forward with greater inspiration in your practice. This training will enhance your ability to practice & teach yoga with more confidence, wisdom and authenticity. 

 

The Science of Yoga & Meditation ($80)

Yoga is both an art and a science. Learn about the impact of yoga on your brain, heart, lungs and more. Your body has incredible intelligence and this training will enrich your understanding of yoga’s impact on various biological systems. You will learn about yoga’s impact on the second brain “the enteric system”, proprioception and so much more.

Meditation Unveiled ($260)

This workshop, with Manasa Kanithi and Ryan Devin prepares yoga teachers and 300-hour students to lead seminars and classes on meditation to mainstream and experienced students.

Special attention is given to the 8 limbs of Yoga focusing on pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi.Learn and experience:
Mindfulness meditation and walking meditation
Zen meditation, history and traditionYoga Nidra Intro, science, sensation, and benefits
Japa, Mantra, joyful meditation
Metta, loving kindness meditation

Explore the psychology of meditation and how to deliver this information to a mainstream group of students, plus, participate in an introductory class for the public.

 

Yoga Sutras Part 2 ($80)

Yoga is both a journey and a destination. In this training you will learn the necessary components of self-discipline. You will learn empowering concepts & strategies thatYoga Sutras Part 2 will allow you to transform your inner mental & physical landscape. The in-depth study of the 8-limbs will enliven your inner-exploration to live with more harmony & presence.

Yoga Sutras Part 4 ($40)

In this training, we will dive deeper into book 4 of Yoga Sutras. We explore the process of rebirthing our mind through the different layers of our being. You will gain insight to the nature of building a strong foundation for enriching your sense of balance and equanimity.

 

Myths & Legends of Yoga Asana Part 2 ($40)

In this workshop we explore the journey of the hero through the lens of yoga mythology. Through the stories of Anjaneya, Veerabhadra, the Divine Feminine and more, you will gain language and inspiration to learn more about the truth of who you are and embrace the joy of self-exploration.

 

Ayurvedic Self Care for Teacher Burnout ($100)

In this training you will learn how to cultivate safe spaces for your students to learn, grow, process, and heal. You will learn how to stay energized and recharged while also remaining empathetic and compassionate to others. You will learn about burnout from both a western and Ayurvedic point of view, how to prevent and recover from emotional fatigue and establish routines of Self-care that will promote radiant wellness & health.

 
 
 

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

Manasa, M.S., E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Manasa Kanithi's first teachers of yoga, meditation, and Sanskrit were her parents. Her training began at the tender age of five. Her interest in culture and science led her to complete her undergraduate studies at the USF Honors College with a major in Classics (Ancient Greek/Latin Studies) and a minor in Chemistry. She also carries a Certificate in Ayurvedic Studies, and a graduate certificate in Aging and Neurosciences and has a masters in Medical Sciences.
